There are two ways to restart a kiosk depending on the situation. Trying a restart is a good first step to try to resolve issues, but please open a ticket with IT if in doubt or if the issue persists after a restart.


Option 1: Restart the QuickConnect app


Do this any time after changes to the configuration or settings in System Manager. The most common situation requiring restarting of the app will be when someone has changed the event promotions on the kiosk, which must be done in System Manager. 


1.Scan your admin barcode
2.Tap the Restart App button
3.Wait for QuickConnect to restart



Option 2: Restart the kiosk


This procedure restarts everything; the PC running the QuickConnect app, the credit card terminal, the cash/coin accepter, and the printer. You can try this procedure if the kiosk stops accepting payments or if restarting the QuickConnect app did not resolve the issue you are having.


1.Scan your admin barcode
2.Tap the Shutdown PC button
3.Wait till the screen goes black
4.Open the printer section of the kiosk
5.Switch the power button to Off
6.Count to 10
7.Switch the power button to On
8.Everything should restart for you automatically
