A service ticket is created by IT if a support request requires on site troubleshooting. The requesting staff remember becomes the port of contact for the ticket and will receive communication about scheduling and troubleshooting steps until the issue is resolved. Multiple staff members can be added to a service ticket and receive updates as well, either through email or directly through the IT portal.
